A: There are a lot of people who run good, tough to say who is my favorite
Q: What tracks do you race at?
A: Princeton, Brainerd, Alex, Cedar Lake, Rice Lake, Jim Falls, Willmar, Deer
Creek, St. Croix, Superior, Fox Ridge, this year Ogilvie
Q: Who got you in to racing?
A: Starting going to the races when I was 6 months old and never stopped. Spent
a lot of years in the stands with Cale Berry, when we were kids, and progressed
from there.
Q: What do you like about racing?
A: Hanging out with good people, having fun, and the competitive nature of the
sport.
Q Have you thought of Moving up a class?
A: I would love to, but until I get rich, I will stick with Supers.
Q: Do you feel lots of competition on the track?
A: Yes
Q: What made you decide on your racing number?
A: Was the number that was first painted (with a paintbrush) on my car. The x
came when I thought I was getting fast (boy was I wrong).
Q: What was your favorite moment in the 2008 season?
A: The end. 2008 was a tough season.
Q: What’s your favorite track?
A: Jim Falls or Fox Ridge
Q: What are your goals for the 2009 season?
A: 50 clean sweeps; win the Fall Classic, the Wissota 100, the Labor Day Shoot
out, the Red Clay Classic, and the Punky Manor. Win the track championships at
Princeton, Brainerd, and Jim Falls. Be the first person to record a perfect
season in Wissota Super Stocks, but I will settle for having fun with my wife
and friends, and maybe picking up win #2.
Q: What makes a good race car driver?
A: Preparation and confidence
Q: Is there anything you do before the race to prepare yourself?
A: Just completely going over the car.
Q: What is the best advice any driver has ever given you?
A: Prepare your stuff well, leaving your car on the trailer until Friday
afternoon and taking it to the track expecting to run up front only works if
your Dustin Nelson.
Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: Run Supers and have fun

A: Happily married

A: 2009 Rocket with a 440 pro power
Q: What are your other hobbies besides racing?
A: recovering from racing in the off season

A: That is a big list.
