Q:
What class do you race?
A: I race in the Hornet Class
Q: Who is your favorite local Race
car driver?
A: I would definitely have to say my cousin Matt Sinna. I love watching him race
Q: Who got you in to racing?
A: My dad did. He used to race at Princeton and other tracks back in the day.
Q: What do you like about racing?
A: I love the feeling you get as your about to pull onto the track. Its such a
mix of emotions!
Q Have you thought of Moving up a class?
A: Yes I have. Thought about racing streeters this year, but I figure one more
year in the hornets wont hurt me : )
Q: Do you feel lots of competition on the track?
A: This last year I didnt so much, because it was my first year and I didnt
really know anyone. But this year, yes, there will be lots of competition
between me and another driver.
Q: What made you decide on your racing number?
A: 21 was my dads old number. He came up with it because he was 21 when he first
started racing. So I decided to use his number and add the S for Sinna.
Q: What was your favorite moment in the 2008 season?
A: Either when I got 3rd my second race of the season, going to the Mighty Axe
in Brainerd and meeting so many sweet people, or racing at Cedar Lake.
Q: Whats your favorite track?
A: I would have to say Cedar by far. They have the best food and the biggest
track! But since they dont race my class there hardly ever, I would have to say
Princeton because its my main track and Im so used to it
Q:What are your goals for the 2009 season?
A: I have many goals for this upcoming season, I have a list actually.
Q:What makes a good race car driver?
A: Im not sure. Maybe if I was a veteran driver I could tell you the answer to
that. But in my opinion, a good driver is someone who isnt afraid to risk it
all.
Q: Is there anything you do before the race to prepaire yourself?
A: Not really. I walk over to my trailer about 1/2 way through the super stock
feature and get my suit on. Then my dad comes over and talks to me about how the
track is looking and where to ride. And I always pray before each race. Not only
for myself, but for all the drivers on the track.
Q: What is the best adivce any driver has ever given you?
A: "Slower is faster" Danny Stevenson told me that at my grad party. I didnt
understand it until the last race of the season.
Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: Right now Im a freshmen at Anoka Tech College.
Q: Whats your relationship status?
A: Single. And its going to stay that way for a while.
Q: Whats your dream car?
A: Right now, 2010 Camaro and a 70 Chevelle SS
Q: What are your other hobbies besides racing?
A: Im a huge videogame nerd. I love my
playstation 2 and 360 to
death. Tekken and Guitar Hero
are the best games ever, dont even try to beat me! I also play guitar, I have
been playing for almost 5 years now. I dirtbike, snowmobile and paintball. Im a
big movie watcher too.
Q: Is there anybody you would like to thank?
A: Yes. All of my sponcors for the 08 season, Dustys Auto Body for painting my
car for free, Altra Muffler; Roy you have helped me out so much this last race
season... BROOKIE BOOBBY!, Phil for donating my battery, Bauer Built tires; they
always had tires ready for me because I pretty much needed a new one every week.
Brandon, Richard and David you guys supported me to much and came to so many of
my races.. thank you! All of the new friends I have made, like Andy Jones,
Mike Bromwich, Kaitlin Fleischer, Justin
Alexander, Cole Tindle, JT Johnson, Nate O'Brien (The Stallion), and all the
Speedshop guys. But most of all, I would like to thank my family for supporting
me, and going to all if not most of my races every weekend.
Mom and Dad, none of this
could have been possibe with out you. I am so thankful for everything you have
done. I have never been happier my entire life. I love you both so much (You too
Sammy.. your the man!).
